Accountant by trade, father by choice, and an ok husband as well.

I have a passion for plants and animals (the ones that stay out of the garden, except earth worms). I’m also a food enthusiast who enjoys eating plants and animals (again, except worms).

Growing up around my family farm has given me an appreciation for the hard work that goes into a harvest every year and the many factors which should be considered when planting.

The goal of this site is to better grow and understand the food we eat so that we all may build the best vegetable garden possible.
